New articel on whole system change in the energy transition
A new article was published by Dierk Bauknecht in the journal Environmental Innovation and Societal Transitions. It examines the governance challenges of the energy transition and contributes to the new debate on whole system change. Specifically, it is about the further development of grid regulation, the case study examines Norway. Network regulation was developed to make the networks more efficient. What does it mean for this instrument if, in the course of the energy transition, not only renewable energies are expanded, but the power grids also have to be adapted accordingly?
